No one can fix your relationship except you.

Often, it is difficult to talk about things that hurt. But it is very important to talk to your partner about what is bothering you. It’s not a good thing to tell your friends instead of telling your partner. Do your best to figure out a way to talk with your partner about what is bugging you so you can work together on the issue!

When you talk to your friends about your partner, at the time it means like the weight is lifted for a few minutes. But the sad part is that the issue wasn’t resolved.  If your partner doesn’t know what he or she has done to upset you, how can they change it?

No one can fix your relationship except you. Causing pain to your muscles allows them to grow back stronger. Often introducing some discomfort and pain into your relationship by becoming more vulnerable with the other is the only way to make the relationship stronger.

You and your partner need to have a good understanding of each other’s insecurities and the way you each choose to compensate for them.

Those icky, insecure things you hate sharing with people… consider sharing them with your partner. Not only is it healing, but you and your partner need to have a good understanding of each other’s insecurities and the way you each choose to compensate for them.  Resentment of witnessed behaviors could shift to empathy for the other’s situation.

If you desire a deep commitment that often means making your lives so intertwined it is difficult for others to see you as separate beings. But this takes vulnerability, talking about difficult subjects, listening to each other with upmost love and care and not keeping secrets from each other.
